Concern has been raised over what have been described as 'incorrect and misleading' figures released today by the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) which suggest a record number of active dispensing contractors in several years. New data published by the NHSBSA claim that 2023/24 saw the 'highest number of active dispensing contractors since 2015/16'.
