I enrolled in a four-year PharmD program (Doctor of Pharmacy) and became a pharmacist with the goal that one day, I would be able to discover new treatments for people who were suffering. Vitamin D supports the immune system by enhancing the pathogen-fighting effects of white blood cells, which are important parts of immune defense.

Scientists in Bosnia first published this connection in 2015, though I’ve seen it clinically since 2013. (1).
